Ordering immediate relief for flood-hit people in the south of Iran, the President reiterated: "Implementation of IWM projects is the best strategy to control devastating floods and the relevant agencies should expand their activities in this field".

According to FRWO’s website, speaking on Wednesday in the meeting of the cabinet, Ayatollah Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi offers condolences on martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and said," Explaining the actions of the government in various fields, while further strengthening the nation's trust in the government, neutralises the enemies' plots aimed at disappointing the people."

He noted: "Apart from trusting the government, the people expect to be informed about the actions taken by the agencies, and in this regard, public relations and the national TV have an important role to play".

Emphasising that the government welcomes the criticism and concerns of the people and considers it effective in reforming and advancing the affairs, Dr Raisi stated, "Apart from the weaknesses and ambiguities that are raised in the media or public opinion, the relevant body must respond to the ambiguities and questions".

"Full coordination of the government's economic team, declining inflation and provincial trips are among the strengths of the government, but unfortunately due to lack of accurate and timely information, some people try to present such issues as weaknesses and in the public mind," he said.

Dr Raisi further referred to the issue of floods in the southern provinces of the country and said, "In this flood, agricultural fields have been damaged and it is necessary to provide the necessary facilities to farmers to compensate the damage and the Minister of Agricultural Jihad should follow this issue closely".

The President also stressed the need to provide immediate assistance to the people hit by the floods and said, "In this regard, the government has stepped in with its full capacity and it is necessary to take care of people's situation".
